Growth-driven deformation of ultra-soft tissues

For my M.Tech thesis, I modeled morphogenesis in three dimensions using continuum mechanics. I constructed a mechanical model of buckling due to restricted growth in ultra-soft tissue, implemented the formulation in ABAQUS using a UMAT, and applied it to three-dimensional geometries that deform into hat and saddle shapes under different growth patterns.
